Buying a shotgun...

What's involved?
Having tried shooting clays a few times,I'd like a gun. What is involved in applying for a shotgun licence? Does anyone here keep guns, and what was the criteria for doing so?

I got in so much trouble with this - I went shooting clays, and Mrs Don1 didn't know how to cook them....


I didn't have the heart to tell her I am heading to a casino in the next few weeks to shoot craps...
