Please can someone recommend a place that will supply aerosol paint made to a paint code. I have a Griff that is Imperial Blue, the body code on the under bonnet plate is P422 5WN3B and elsewhere on here I have found it cross referenced to R2744 and PPG012. On a Cobra forum it is referred to as ford code Q2. The high street guys don’t list Imperial Blue (not as a Ford colour ) and they don’t understand the codes. Some years ago I remember having a couple of cans mixed to a body code but can’t remember who did it.

Not tried a Ford dealer yet, perhaps I should do that next.

When I had to touch up a scratch on my Mr2 (a tricky blue/green colour) Halfords made up a can that was a perfect match.

Worth a try as there's an outlet in most towns.

Alternatively a good paint factor will do it and can often match up your actual paint colour to take fading into account.

just had a can of ardent red for the lotus made up at Halfords.Apart from the crap nozzle it came up well, although I didn't spray an obvious area.
