Not quite as good as it sounds, sorry. I am removing the carpet and trim from the white S and it's all quite tatty. Blue carpet and seats with white trim. Happy for it to go to anyone who needs a pattern to have a carpet set made up. It will be a few days before its all out and then needs drying out, its sodden at present. Door cards are good so will be looking to sell them. Drivers seat quite worn, passanger seat fine, again hoping to sell them. Also boot carpet available for a pattern.

Hood is again quite good, blue and will go on fleaybay with door cards and seats. Hood wont be available until the interior is gutted

My carpets are rotten, as I suspect are many others, probably gone beyond using as a template. I would be interested in preserving them as a pattern for future S's. Any one else interested? Could they be lodged with a bonafide supplier? Andy

It looks from their website that these guys already have a pattern and look good value....

I think Dave M may have used them but not 100% certain

Hi Ian but these are just overmats, not all the trim, floor around the doors, the parcel shelf, the tunnel etc etc

Norman,

if you have a local trimmer who is happy to use these as a pattern I bet he would get some orders. I'd certainly be interested, but we would need to know the differences between Gerald's friends spec and whatever recipient car was.
Later models have door release on door card and not on transmission tunnel (though this may not alter carpet requirement), S3 onwards have longer doors etc.

I believe the rear section ("parcel shelf" etc) is the same across all models, but am likely to be wrong I suppose given its a Tiv hehe

If you get no other takers I'll relieve you of the carpets gladly.

I will then pass them on once I get my replacements made up. In fact by then I'd have two sets of templates to pass on scratchchin

Pyramid re-trimming scheme idea

Stuart

I will continue to strip (they must have used gallons of evo Stick), and dry them out - will discuss with local trimmers but would be happy to pass to you. I thought all the cars had the door release on the doors

If its carpets your after then contact Dave from D&C trim, he is ex TVR and works out of Bristol Ave. He has patterns for the S ( though I managed to remove mine in one piece to use as template) and made me a full kit up, fitted fine with no problems.
Highly recommended.

Contact details are Chris 07738 130236, Dave 07772 856695, email D_C_trim@hotmail.co.uk

Interesting. Just as an idea, you don't recall a rough cost do you ?

Thanks.

For the full set, and I mean the full set it was £350.00, plus plenty of free advise as to how to fit tips, etc.
I think if my memory is correct there are 15 pieces but dont quote me on that, .

The sets offered by Coverdale do not include for the full set.

I have completed mine and I will post some pics shortly, if you need any further info just ask.

Hope the above helps

There's a carpet place down in Bovey Tracey that has done S carpets and have all the templates, apparently.

I forget the name.
