Just a quick headsup for anyone interested, Ross Kemp: Return to Afghanistan on Sky 1/Sky 1 HD tonight at 10pm.

If the camerawork and so on is as good as the previous run - it should be a blinder.

Watched this last night - was very good.

Does anyone know why some of the soldiers had their faces blurred out, yet others didn't?

Lots of respect to the soldiers and to Ross, normal chap facing enemy fire without a weapon.

It was good.

Anyone appearing on the screen can opt to have to have their identity covered. The SO chaps do routinely but in the main they try and stay off camera.

Ross would not be issued with a weapon for several reasons, but IMO they probably think he'll accidently shoot one of the guys around him by mistake! Watching it on TV is one thing, but the first time you actually have incoming fire aimed at you is king scary and there is a natural tendency just to fire back randomly. We have enough casualties as it is.

Good programme though.

A very good series, no matter what anyone says, that man has some balls to go out there and be on the frontline unarmed. So for that matter do all the guys out there, not sure I could do it. bow

Anyone know when it's on again?
