My dream Cobra... Mentally fast, and I prefer the "slimline" body... Never to be unless the lottery is outragously kind, and I employ the luckiest chauffeur in the world! Don't ask what I currently drive, I'm hauled around by my 40 kg guide dog Earl!

smokin one rather fine Cob is that IMO!

Esprit V8 is a nice choice for these too, should certainly help keep that Cob performance reputation alive and very well!

Very nice!! I like how its not all bling and stupidly expensive braided hoses and shiny stainless panelling in the engine bay and I like how the interior is dark and basic.

Most replica cars I have seen are all white leather lined and far to bling for my liking and IMO not in the ethos of the original car.

Thanks for all of the replies - a few stats on the car:

AC Cars Birmingham motorshow car - here is my car on the stand in 2000:

one of only two made
Featured in Clarkson Video with himself at the wheel & also driven by Damon Hill / Mark Blundell for various features
350bhp Lotus 3.5ltr (212 cubic inches - hence the name, S/C = semi/competition) twin turbo engine (developed by AC car chief engineer John Owen when at Lotus)
Then the largest one piece carbon fibre moulding (body is full carbon fibre) in the car industry
900kg weight / 390bhp per tonne
0-60mph 4secs / 0-100mph 9secs / 155mph top speed
