Anyone else have a dog with happy dreams?

Recently rescued a dog.. You know when he is dreaming because his legs go, but this one, his tail also wags in his sleep.

I've never known a dog to do that, so anyone else got a dog with a waggy tail when s/he sleeps?

My ma's old fleabag used to mutter in its sleep - sort of yelp/woof combo - very weird (but very funny!)

Yep, two of them do that as well, whine, growl, bark, and make harumph type noises....

Mine yelps, woofs, runs, wags and growls. He must have some pretty interesting dreams. I think he's mainly just dreaming about the bh the other side of the river.

Yep, two of them do that as well, whine, growl, bark, and make harumph type noises....

One of my current fosters must have happy dreams. He woofs, whines, runs (lying on his side) and wags his tail . Your new rescue dog must be a very happy dog. Where did you get him from, and where's the photos?

Jimmy (our whippet) has wagged his tail when sleeping but more a couple of thumps with his tail rather than a proper wag. He does all the other stuff though, always makes me smile. The funniest is when he barks in his sleep and wakes himself up as a result, the startled look on his face is great

Mine looks like he's having a full on seizure, when you wake him up because you are scared he really is having one, he gives you a look of 'i was having a wicked dream you 'bd'

They can look quite violent at times. I have a cat that occasionally looks like he's about to fit when he dreams. I've got used to it now but it was a bit startling the first time I saw him, he was asleep on my lap at the time!

My dog occasionally has full on howling episodes when asleep. Bit freaky!
