New Labour supporters tell us why - - - - here....

Hi all,

I am keen to understand why some people support them. Anyone out there explain why New Labour are a good option for GB PLC? If 28% or so of the population will vote NL then there must be a fair few here.

Please concentrate on NL, not why the tories would do a worse job, John Prescott shouts about this enough and it makes you look thick.
Some of you may have guessed that I am not a fan of New Lab.. So what.
Yes we know PH has a significant Tory majority. So what tell us why NL deserves your vote.

My sister should be voting for Labour.

She is being paid to go on a "fact finding" tour of the world.

She is being paid to go on holiday for a year. She just received a pay rise two months into her year away. That's right at full pay. Oh yeah, she works for the Ministry of Justice.

I'm a Labour voter but right now I would probably vote blue just to get a change in leadership and maybe inspire a bit of confidence in the markets for investors. I rekon the conservatives would at least put a bit of confidence in the bloody currency.

I guess its my genetic programing reinforced by my social and economic experience ,I've known quite a few well off people and a fair few tories but most of them I'd be happy to see against a wall, and those last tory days..honestly what disgraceful ste(badger lamont)I've got a little list too, I bear it close to my heart .

Out of interest how do you regulate intelligence? Is it give everyone straight A's, a degree and 30K of student debt?

hehe, can you imagine the future:
The rest of the world allow embryo screening to avoid genes with a high risk of cancer etc.
Labour allow embryo screening to avoid genes with a high risk of intelligence !!!!

And I think that's the point. No-one does have more 'chance'.

Some people make their own luck and chances tho'. Others don't, but demand that things are handed to them on a plate. It's that demanding that is the problem - or, more accurately, whether they are given what they demand.

Give him at least a modicum of credit - DangerousMike, holding true to his principles, and finding himself blessed with an IQ 3% above the average, did the right thing and performed a DIY Black & Decker frontal labotomy. Sadly, he shaved off a tad too much, and is now a poster child for the Labour Party, having a revised IQ on a par with some of the salad served at KFC.

easy, at the age of twelve, each child is tested to determine their natural intelligence as well as physical strength. People who are two clever are fitted with distracting-devices, e.g. electric shock units or armbands that play loud noises etc. These repeat a distracting stimulus at a time interval determined by the intelligence of the subject.

People with a better physique or balance etc. are fitting with handicaps such as weights on chains, or heavy backpacks containing rocks, they must carry around to slow them down to the average speed. People with better balance are given shoes with differing sole thicknesses to put them off balance again.
