Got a problem with the shogun, parked in a carpark yesterday came back 4 hours later and pressed the remote button, nothing happened tried loads of times. opened the car using the key but the alarm went off, it still let me drive but ended up driving with the alarm and the hazards going after about 10 mins the alarm stopped and got home ok. It still won't respond to the remote button so everytime i get in it the alarm goes off. i don't think the battery in the remote is dead as I can see a red light flicker when i press the remote button, anybody out there got any idea's

As he said, or... I had an Mr2, which did as you described. Turned out to be water getting into the alarm electrics.

Hold the remote against your temple whilst you push the button, this can boost the signal. I know it sounds weird, but with my Laguna I can operate the central locking from about 60m whilst doing this, but only 20m if just holding it normally.

Have'nt you got to wear a pair of tights on your head at the same time to build up the static?
