Chimeara Shock absorbers

I keep noticing Chimeara shock absorbers on ebay, will they fit an s3? I keep hoping for second hand ones but i'm sure i'll have to bite the bullet and go for new!

I can't work out why anyone would buy second hand shock absorbers, and I doubt that Chimaera ones would be the right dimensions or damping characteristics given that the suspension is fundamentally different.

I agree - the difference from my old to the new is phenomenal. Not to mention the main reason to change them (unless you are a track guru like Joo) is because they are knackered

Without trying to be trite, I keep hoping for second hand Gaz, AVO or Nitrons from someone who wants to upgrade, i'd agree that you wouldn't want second hand originals, perhaps i should have been clearer, the ones on ebay are Gaz. Just trying to save on the £4-500 new price.

Email Norman (Gerald-TVR) the car he is breaking has new AVO's I think.
Not sure if he has only 3 though, one getting toasted.

Keeping them as you say three are OK and AVO can check the fourth cooked front and recon as necessary and will match to the existing front one
