Hiya,

Got sent this way by Noose and Phantom from VXROnline

Thought i'd best pop on and say Hi

Recently bought a Heron White LS3 VXR8 and absolutely loving it!! Always wanted a V8 and a few years ago i did speak to a few people about importing a GTS E series from Aus but then they bought the VXR8 out here - glad they bought out the white though, i think it would've been great if they'd brought over a few of the lary colours aswell as i wanted the orange

Looking forward to getting to know a few of you

Most excellent Sir.
And it appears from late last year, around November I think all new builds have the TR6060 uprated trans.
Or did you buy the inferior auto version?

An excellent base engine you have too!

So what's everyone else got on here??

Can half tell a few VXR/Monaro owners looking through some old posts and CV8's but too many posts to go through to work out who has what...

well at the monent iam not to fussed with more power until i get it to handle better. so i will be looking at the road response pack to start with then ripshifter. and if all is well i may see about spending money on power.

I guess you havent driven a monaro then? The gear change and handling arent the best ( but not the worst )and after searching through many threads on hear the general oppinion seems to be that those two mods are a good starting point for any future mods.smile

Rip shifter in the vxr8 is different to the older models. Donk vxr has a billet shifter to go in. I have a rip shifter race and I think Wortec are selling the street one. You are welcome to try mine and once Chris (donk) gets his in try that. I think his has the shorter shifts. Mine is a bit noisy, but I think thats because I didnt pack the ball and socket with enough proper grease, just some light spray on stuff.

This will give you some light reading (wallet lightening that is!)

www.monkfishperformance.co.uk/

www.wortec.co.uk/

Tried the new RipShifter in Wortec car, I think they are making a few changes before it is finalised.
