Why not buy a 5.7 cv8 for between 10k and 12k and then do some really good mods at monkfish for a 2k and have a bit of cash left over.

I'd rather start with a 6.0 and work up than a 5.7. And I have a 6.0 engine in the garage on the stand (it's to go in my '55 F100, with twins) I can swap bits with

be patient and keep looking as theres not much about at the mo. i was looking for about a year then i got my 06 plate vxr for just under £13k

Spoke to him on Saturday, offered him cash but didnt seem that bothered about selling it. Been offered a 5.7VXR for £9.5k so there are some cheap cars about if you wait I guess.

My 5.7 vxr should be advertised next week it's got lots of mods, if you're interested.
