Seatbelt Anchors?
Discussion
Whilst on with the panelling I have come across what might be a problem later on in the build. I have tried to figure this out from the manual, builds sites and the search facility, all without success!
Where the alloy sidepanels meet the lower chassis rail, they half overlap the seatbelt anchor points and hence need clearance filing.....just how much is the question? I'm guessing the seatbelts have a steel spacer between the belt bracket and the chassis rail.....whats the diameter of the spacer, so I can make the crescent shape the correct size and hence the spacers sit flat against the chassis rail?
Cheers in advance for any info.

Just find your self 2 off washers with ID of diameter of the bolt but slightly thicker than the alluminium then use their od's to calculate the cutaway . [i.e. the cutaway depends on which washers YOU want to use].I used the washers in the seatbelt mounting kit which were 7/16 ID x 7/8 OD inches .It isn't a visible area whenthe seats are in but yes should be as neet as possible. The diameter of the bolts on mine is 7/16 inch .

So there are no steel spacers as part of the standard brackets/bolts...just washers?
If thats the case thats fine... I'll make my own spacers and holes accordingly as I intend to fit trim panels, and want the mounts to bolt firmly/square through to the steel chassis, not half on ally//half fresh-air (hence the question).
Cheers Frank.
