Yep, used mine just to pop to the shops. To find most of them closed smile Was dissapointed, in a schoolboy kind of way, that the main roads had all been cleared of snow ;-)

Yes, drove into work today in the Freelander2. Noone has really driven around our village roads yet, so deep fresh snow to contend with along with some compacted snow and steep hills. The "snow" setting and "hill descent" features were awesome. Felt so safe and never felt skidding at all. The critics did rave about the Freelander2's offroad capability, but other than occasionally having one wheel on the kerb to park, i've never needed 4wheel drive. But now I can see why its so good. Great fun.

Thanks, that's one I took yesterday. And here's one from today. Glad I went out first thing as the snow here is melting quickly now.

Good photos!

Took the Bowler into work today - I was very dissapointed that there wasn't more snow...

Never mind, there is plenty of winter left!

I would like to say that i dislike you highly! hehe

2 reasons. 1 you have a very nice defender. 2 you have loads of snow to play in.

I just got my freelander this morning and the snows mostly gone from my area frownfrown

Hopefully you've got some to play in this morning! Although the white stuff we've got here today is really slushy on a base of ice. It's the first day this week that stopping has been a bit of a problem...
