Good food places in Nairn

I'm off with the other half to Nairn at the end of the month and was wondering if there are any good pubs or restaurants that would be worth visiting for lunch or dinner?

I'm not fussy what kind of food, as long as it is good.

While you're in the locale stop off at Baxters in fochabers for elevenses or an afternoon snack.

Excellent Indian restaurant in Nairn - the Royal Bengal in the High Street. Great food, great service Tel [phone] if you want to book a table.

Boath is stunning but very expensive. Worth it though.

In Nairn, there's a place, called something like the School House which was decent bistro-style food: quite casual, decent place though.

The Keppoch at Culloden moor serves great grub as well but you can only book if you are in a party of 8 I think, we have never waited more than 15 mins. Well worth it for the plateful

We ended up going to the Royal Bengal and couldn't fault it. Would highly recommend.

Live in inverness and can honestly say never eaten out in Nairn!!!
Although i agree with the Fochabers recommendation, Pancakes are AMAZING!!!!
