Now my local authority has started adding molasses to the salt and grit it spreads on the roads (yes seriously) my nice shiney silver car is covered in black sticky spots.

Any easy removal solution?

Find a friendly cow - they love molasses and will lick your car clean. wink

Autosmart Tardis. It's a tar and glue remover. Wash your car as normal, then spray it on and leave for a few mins. Wipe down with a microfibre cloth and reapply as needed. Then wash the car down again and dry. Go over with a coat coat or 2 of wax.

Richard,

I was going to mention Tardis...I can tell you were to get it in Norwich or if you only need a small amount I have some at the unit you can have...
