Your Classic Cruise Circuit Tour kicks off with coffee and continental breakfast at our new Redgate Suite, in the Donington Park paddock. There will be plenty of time to chat, enjoy the cars and the sunshine (hopefully!!) before moving on to one of the main attractions at the circuit, the Donington Grand Prix Collection.Here you will have the chance to see the largest collection of Grand Prix cars in the World. Ranging from Ascari’s 1952 Ferrari, Jim Clark’s Lotus 25, to Nigel Mansell’s famous ‘Red5’ Williams.
After drooling over the great collection of racing cars you will head south, following your GPS - SAT NAV, we don’t subscribe to the rather archaic system of “here’s some directions, see you tonight”. To ensure you enjoy the ultimate in stress free touring all cars on this tour will be fitted with our premium GPS Satellite Navigation units.Our detailed and pre driven routes are loaded onto the units, you just have to select route leg one and let the system guide you, while enjoying the open road at YOUR pace. Even the petrol stops are pre loaded! RADIOS - All guests on this tour will enjoy the use of powerful licensed two way radios - these units are 8 times more powerful than the usual high street walkie-talkies and provide a method for the group to communicate with each other during the day. We have planned a leisurely drive through the midlands countryside to a wonderful pub lunch, all included in your package price.
Now we move on to the serious stuff.....a short drive leads to Leicestershire’s Mallory Park, where you will have approximately 15 minutes of ‘steady’ track time on the historical circuit which plays host to a round of the British Superbikes.Once you have finished with your Lewis Hamilton ‘last of the late braker’s’ we head off into the countryside for another SAT NAV guided country drive towards the home of British Motorsport. Where you will be able relax and enjoy refreshments and afternoon tea in the Classic Dreams Pitlane Paddock suite before setting off for our final destination of the day.
The last stop will be at the Prodrive factory, near Banbury for a superb 2 hour exclusive guided tour of their facilities.Prodrive are world renowned for manufacturing and racing the Subaru World Rally cars and the Aston Martin LMP1, GT1, GT2 sports cars. A fitting end to a super day out for all the family, remember our Circuit Tour is not limited to Supercars, you are welcome to take part in any car or on any motorcycle you want.
