I am after this lens Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 APO Macro Super DG Lens - Sony/Minolta Fit
The issue is "Warehouse Express" saying not in stock anywhere that is cheap to buy from??

Try asking in-store at Jessops and seeing if they will offer a discount.

Ask them for a leadtime on it, they supply to a lot if insurance companies for claims and generally have good stock levels. Could be that they didnt restock from the last time if it took 3 months to shift. If they know they've got a sale they can buy in

Yeah thats the one, I rang up and they said waiting for delivery in the next 20 days. All I am after is a 70-300mm lens for a sony A200 camera so no idea if a sony lens or a sigma lens is better.

Not that particular one; you'll need to see if they make one that fits on the Sony/Minolta mount.

Have you tried more thna one local Jessops ?

I had to phone a couple to get the same lens in Nikon fit when I bought mine.

Its ok decided after stress at work ordered a sony 70-300mm lens from amazon, but thanks for all your help
