hmmm, slightly dodgy on e-bay

My car is on ebay and I this email earlier...

Hi I'm very interested in your car for sale, pls get back to me to arrange a veiwing of it pls,can I receive some more photos and the V5 document with the certificate title + the VIN number and if the cars is ok I will buy it off you

I want to buy your car too.... I want to send it to my ill uncle in Botswana as a get well gift. If I write you a cheque for £50,000 would you be kind enough to return the difference in cash?

PS I need it quick in case he dies soon, so carn't wait for the cheque to clear, I am honest so I hope you will trust me......


On a serious note if the interested party does a HPI check from the reg it will come back with the VIN & engine number (mine did anyway) not sure about giving details on the V5 though.

I tried to sell my old mans Porker (yes he has now moved from the dark side) on flee bay and gave up due to all the time wasters offering £20000 for a £60000 car or wanting it on a 24hr test drive.
