Hi Guys, could one of you master detailers give me some advice please?

I want to remove my road wheels and detail the contents of my inner wheelarches. What is the best way to approach this regarding the washing, cleaning and finishing process.

What products should I be using on things like the black plastic arch liners, the painted bits, areas around the brakes, the dampers and suspension components?

Any tips would be much appreciated or links to sites where this info might be lurking...

Cheers! thumbup

Products like Bilt Hamber Surfex hd or Meguiars super degreaser are dilutable de-greasers that would be effective on the suspension parts, spray on,agitate with a brush or cloth and pressure rinse of, same could be used on the arch linings or a strong mix of all purpose cleaner, then treat with a waterbased product like Autoglym rubber and vinyl or apply a oily based product like Meguiars all seasons dressing and wipe excess.
If you want to add some protection to the suspension parts then a spray sealant product like Opti-seal would be my choice, obviously due to the nature of the parts durability is limited, alternatively bilt hamber do a protection product for this application but they are purely that and not cosmetical.

Agree with Gleam machine here, also buy a tin of Swissvax Motor Shine and give the plstics a coat afterwards as this makes them so much easier to maintain in the future.
