whats a good price for someone to paint just top coat ???

hi all
am after trying to get a figure of what it would cost to paint a pepole carrier .
all body prep is done and it primer .
all i want doing is someone to spray top coat on , its all stripped down ready and will be masked up .
paint is also supplied along with hardener , thiners etc

as im sure you are aware, a paint job is only as good as the prep. I for one would not paint a car that has been prepped by someone not in the trade. if the job come out wrong who would be to blame?

If you arranged your own spraybooth, and the car is all ready to go- prepped & masked, I'd imagine you'd get someone to apply your topcoat for £100-£200 max.
Have you thought about asking your local college? You may be able to speak to the bodywork lecturer and get a half decent level 3 painter to do it.
