Anyone know what the penalty is likely to be for driving along it.

I havent done it, just wondering if its worth treating it as a toll

I find it infuriating when I sit in it stationary for half an hour while 8 cabs each with 2 people in and a airline crew bus with 10 people on it go by whilst myself and the other 500 odd people queuing sit and wait.

If you were a minister returning in a cab from Heathrow you wouldn't be as hostile to the idea.

Yes, it's called a 'buslane', but hasn't got a single bus stop (how could it, it's on the fast lane!)
But it's for cabs really, obvious eh?

never really understood why cabs are classed as public transport, how is it any different to paying someone to drive you around in your own car ?

Its a bus lane so £50 fine if paid within 2 weeks or £100 if not.

Alternatively buy an old black cab, been thinking of doing that myself for some time.

I think it was Tony Bliar, Elected Dictator and Destroyer of British Culture - the man who looks likely to become what Hitler failed to become ... Life President of Europe!
