I only mention it as I wandered past the Mars factory at lunchtime on my daily constitutional walk through the rural beauty of the Slough trading estate, and there was a foreign tanker on the weighbridge at the front of the Mars factory with a couple of bemused looking coppers and a glum looking bloke in a high-viz jacket that I took to be the driver - when I came back, they were making arrangements to have the tanker towed away by the look of it. I assumed he'd been pulled over for some mechanical deficiency of the vehicle. You'd have to be fairly desperate to stow away inside a tanker though - and lucky for them it wasn't one of the sugar-cane trucks - the tanks on those are simply up-ended and pumped out at the side of the building - could get very messy.

Edited: thinking about, you have to have some pity for the poor sods - risking suffocation in a tanker full of chocolate powder to escape some god-forsaken sh!te-hole of a festering dump overseas, only to find yourself turfed out in Slough. What a p!sser.

'Fifteen suspected illegal immigrants have been found "covered in cocoa powder"'

I'm going to be in so much trouble but it's worth it:

Maybe they were trying to escape Slough and the "friendly bombs".
