Does anyone get the sensation of tightness/something stuck in their throat?

I've been the GP! three times, had anti-fungal cream, salt water gargles, anti-septic gargles etc but the sensation is still there.

I've got an ENT appointment in a couple of weeks to have some more checks done but it appears there's no apparent reason for it.

Googling it, it seems pretty common but I've yet to find the bit where someone says "And I did X and it went away"biggrin

Could it be a sign of smugness brought about by spotting a tiny error in another's photo post?

Can a throat 'fall off'? Surely the weight of the skull would keep it in place?

I wouldnt google it if I were you. People who search for their ailments online always come to the same conclusion:

Death.

Muhahahaha etc.

Laryngo-pharyngeal reflux disease

have you had a stroke lately?

Benign or malignant tumours of the neck and mediastinum causing oesophageal compression ?

probably one of those

Which annoyingly means hysterical lump!

I've got a feeling there's a bone stuck there, but I'm bored waiting to see the ENT bloke...
