Driving back from pies in Reading tonight it was reasonably heavy from Bracknell to Ascot, but only settling on the cars so far.

Pies were great... Company . Joking!, about 15 of us and another good night out.
Decided we need to find a local pub with no food to stop 'some people' breaking their diet promises. Royal Oak came up

Next meal out is a fortnight away (18th), so I can see a Guinness night being next week sometime

Some of it is a bit young and trendy on a Friday/Saturday night. But out the back there is a slightly quieter old style bar to escape to.

Ascot High St choice is Bar 1, Stag, Madhatters , Station Cafe, Jags.

Thatched Tavern in Cheapside is great, but not close enough to the station for walking!

I'm guessing you mean this Saturday. I'm in Glasgow, but around the following weekend
