Ok so it was only £2 on a scratchcard I bought last night, but its the first time I have ever won any cash!
Not that great an acheivement when my gambling history consists of the odd scratchcard once in a very blue moon and the occasional lotto ticket.
Has anyone on PH ever won any serious money?

Scratchcards?
How very, very, council.
Like I said, im not a regular buyer of such products, In my lifetime I have perhaps bought a handful, but if you are correct in your generalisation I suppose that makes me a handful more 'council' that yourself, so congratulations to you, and I bow in the face of your obvious class and cultureHow very, very, council.
as you were

How much was the ticket? Did you win £2 or £1? (i.e was the prize £2 or £3?)
Good point, I suppose I have only gained £1 as the prize was £2 and the ticket price £1 but don't ruin it!

So you are saying I should invest all my savings in scratchcards?
Going by how long I have to always queue behind someone making a huge lottery/scratch card transaction whenever I just want to buy a paper on Saturday mornings at the local, yes. It would seem some people think so.
