Snow/travel report if poss please

I need to drive from Colchester to St Albans this afternoon. It's totally clear here, but I'm not sure about the London end of the A12 or the M25. Can anyone let me know? Ta!

Can't help with much of the journey - but St Albans itself had a light covering last night. Traffic is heavy but just people being careful - all the roads I came across were easily passable

Just done chobham M25 (junction 10)- A1m - A1 To hitchin in herts and apart from one lane being closed due to slush on the A1 and M25 all good

Thanks folks - I'll leave 30 mins earlier just to be sure. I don;t think any mroe snow is forecast today so it can only get better (but that's what Blair said in 1997!)

Roads around here (Herts/Beds) were very bad first thing!

Lots of closed roads at 7am. However, with no more snow due today, it should be sorted by then.

I may be some time! I did contemplate the A120 through Braintree and then bashing cross country but I just know it will be equally bad.
