Only become aware of these Ghost bikes a few months ago after seeing this.

Sadly, that is a cheap and low publicity stunt by a band called "Dead Kids". They have been putting child-sized "ghost bikes" around to promote their crappy little band. Ghost bikes are memorials to the dead. It's like putting fake advertising headstones in graveyards.
