What Sledge?

Come on then, PH is good for stuff like this. Snow may make some people miserable but as I live near some big hills with lots of snow and have a long weekend booked I want to buy a sledge and go out to play.

Nothing too complex needed just something fast and suitable for an adult pretending to be 12 again

Just a basic plastic one for a fiver will do. More important is the hill and the snow not the sledge.

I just went down on a tractor inner tube, smooth as an S500.

Bin liners are no good. They rip too easily. Go to a garden centre and get some rubble sacks. They are thicker and go really well.
