is this omega worth anything?

it has sentimental value to me so I wont be selling it, but I was given a solid gold omega seamaster in (and here's an admission) 1966 for my 21st birthday. Never used cos its a mechanical watch and therefore a great deal less accurate than the Seiko electronic I wear every day. But until I came across this forum I wasnt even aware that people collected old watches.

At the same time my father bought himself a plain gold Omega automatic and thats in the bank box too. Any idea what that might be worth?

I could find plenty of prices for modern watches but nothing for the oldies.

Probably about £3-500 unless it's something rare.
Get it serviced and have folk marvelling at your understated class. Sounds a lovely watch, get a pic of it up.
