Purchased one off ebay from a guy who claimed it fitted over AP's and guess what it didn't grrrrr!! so before i ask for my money back does anyone want to offer me something for it, its a brand new 18" space saver not used. and it WON'T fit over AP's.....

And on the off chance does anyone have for sale either?

1. 19" alloy or
2. 18" space saver from a VXR CV8?

Cheers

If this is the guy who I think it is, I have bought HSV/Monaro stuff from him, he's on this forum and a perfect gentlemen. I would simply call him and tell him your problem. I am sure he will sort it out for you.

nope not the one I was thinking of thankfully. If that doesnt fit over your AP's then I'd suggest the minimum you'll need is a full size 18" CV8 wheel. Or you live with having to swap wheels around if you burst a front tyre - should fit over a rear wheel caliper I'd imagine - move rear to front, put spacesaver on rear type of thing.

On that subject of using a full sized 18" CV8 alloy as a spare, does anyone else use one as a spare? I'm having a few problems getting a full size spare into the boot of my VZ. The rear protection for the petrol tank gets in the way. Tried most ways to try to get it to fit into the well - anyone with tips?

that ad looks like the one that was actually off a Vectra - might even be the one I was talking about!
