The NHS are saying that you might get fired for discussing your religion while at work
Lets hope that crosses over to all public places and all religions!

Don't know why you are so happy cheddars, they suspend a nurse over this when there is already a shortage, why waste time on an issue like this?
The patient was 'taken aback' by the nurse's offer to pray for her, what the hell?! Why didn't she just say no and tell her to piss off?
Why did the other nurse the patient complained to have to take it further and report it to a senior staff member? Was she not busy tending to a patient?

Talking about something is not the same as thinking about it!
If talking about religion was banned, maybe they would stop murdering each other over disagreements and misinterpretations of text etc!
We are not allowed to be racist, so why should we be able to be religionist?
Rather inflamatory comment I think. If talking about religion was banned, maybe they would stop murdering each other over disagreements and misinterpretations of text etc!

So, people now think that a "war" should be fought against those who may have different opinions than they do.
I hate this tyope of thinking as it indicates a simple minded approach to humanity. "I don't like the way you think so I will fight you until you change your moind - or are locked up or even dead".
I know religions have also behaved in this manner too. But those who profess to be anti-religious who think in this manner are no better.

Rubbish rubbish rubbish.
I live in the area where this Nurse lives and its been all over the news. Interesting, a little reporting on it has shown that she is now off suspension, can go back to work and there is no issue with here attitude, religion or anything like that. Yes, its a complaint (from someone not directly related to the particular incident) and the NHS had to investigate.
So they want to ban religion? Oh, so are they going to fire all of the hospital chaplains etc? What about the prayer rooms and multi-faith areas? Close them too? Of course not. Its rubbish rubbish and more rubbish. Yet more sensationalist reporting from a leading newspaper.
Anyone would think that there is nothing to report on....

We are talking about the banning of talking about you religion while at work or in public. If you work in a chapel or church that rule would probably not apply to you!

Why do you think nurses are referred to as "Sister"?
