After 6 months of ownership had my first major job... tax disc change... nearly broke a nail getting the old one out but the new one went in no problem with a little spit to stick it down. Am I ready for a full engine out body off restoration now ?

The bloke doing my MOT had to ask for help opening the bonnet. Be brave have a look around. It is not as hard as some might make out.

This time last year I knew nothing about cars and how they worked etc.. then I got help over last winter to strip the top half of my engine down for some powder coating. I've now progressed onto a full front half strip down for repairs/upgrades all on my own. It really is a simple car to work on and you get enourmous satisfaction from doing the work yourself.

Definitely a "one spanner" job.
