Following on from pranks being pulled @ school.
What is the best prank you've managed to pull of in general?
I used to have a quad bike & would drag my mates behind it on a piece of rope when the grass was wet.
One day i couldnt resist dragging hime through a cow pat.
Which was soft underneath - crunch on top.
The crust broke as his crotch went through it.
His pants ended up round his ankles from being dragged on his front at about 20mph & he was covered in cow s

t!I wrote a letter from a production company to my Aunty telling her we are making a film and a scene will be taken outside of her house.
I told her to shut her curtains and not to go near the windows or doors for two days (we were unsure which day we were filming)
For two days she stayed in the house with a pot of tea brewing for the ‘actors’ and she even baked a few cakes!!!!
I also forged a letter from British Gas telling her her gas will be off on 24th, 25th & 26th December for routine maintenance in her area.

Going to a vw show years and years ago, me and mate left late, saying we had trouble with his van (aircooled) actually we got really pissed the night before and woke up late.
So we caught up with the rest of the guys at the M50/M5 service station, reversed into a parking space, engine hanging over the kerb slightly, on the pavement was a puddle of water..
So we jump out, I walk around the back, notice the puddle
"steve...We got a problem"
"what?" *as he walked around the back noticing puddle*
"I think your raidator has gone"
"oh s
t, yeah"
Everyone else trying not to laugh
She found out, she wasnt impressed.

got mate (very) drunk, stripped his bed room of everything wardrobes, bed, carpets, in fact all but wallpaper! he was not too hapy his parents were livid with us!
best mate this time! got him drunk and rubbed a girls immac in his hair, he woke up in the morning combed his hair and it all started falling out did not have a clue what was happening until i woke up and started dying with laughter which is when i think the penny dropped!
had a spare set of keys for best mates car, came upon a petrol station with his car parked up so ran to it drove it round the corner and laughed my head off until he started to call the police at which point i had to come clean!
told a mate that no matter what he did my turles wouldnt bite him, cue him tickling under its chin and finding out i was very very wrong!!
please do not copy any of the above as they are certainly not funny things to do!! and in my defence they all got their own back in numerous funny and one extremely scary and painful occasions which included an unwanted visit from american customs in JFK airport.

Saw this suggested in FHM many many years ago (mid 90s iirc) so I can't take all the credit. It worked a treat however!
1) Tape record lottery draw on Wednesday night
2) Take note of 6 jackpot winning numbers
3) On following Saturday, buy ticket choosing Wednesday's 6 winning numbers
4) Give ticket to mate, saying "I got you a lottery lucky dip"
5) Settle down to watch lottery draw
6) Distract mate and insert tape containing recording of Wednesday's draw and press play
7) Sit back and watch mate's reaction as 'his' numbers are 'drawn'
8) Hilarity ensues
A little more cerebral than some of the other suggestions but hey, I'm that kind of guy.

A friend got pissed at a party. We stripped him naked and "stapled" him to the rock hard lawn using the hoops from a croquet set the owners had left out.
He wasn't a happy bunny when he got woken up !
Now that's a proper prank, not the outright stupidity shown by other people He wasn't a happy bunny when he got woken up !

I thought it'd be really funny one night when drunk to push a commercial size wheely bin - u know the massive blue ones down the pavement.
It was full, my mate didnt stop it which i thought he would.
the wheels went off the curb & straight into the side of my boss's car denting the front panel.
I tried to blame it on someone else but he had CCTV right above the car!

So, what was your friends reaction?
Homemade explosives were a favourite toy.
The layout of the building had a toilet on each floor, directly above the toilet on the floor below. The cast iron soil pipes ran down through the building. They had a metal inspection plate held on by two bolts.
These were removed and a small explosive charge was placed into the soil pipe, then the plate resealed. When this exploded the soil pipe was pressurised.
In the toilet on the floor above, the pressure found its escape. The contents of the pan erupted like a volcano. Anyone sitting on the toilet got the lot.
There had been a detention given that was unjust and it was payback time.
On the last day of term everyone was looking forward to going away on holiday, including the staff. Unfortunately, the staff couldn’t go home as they got a form of detention.
The staff car park was surrounded by a low brick wall with railings on top. There was just a single gateway large enough for a car to drive through.
Shortly before we left there was a loud explosion. A big old tree that stood next to the gatepost came crashing down, blocking the gate. With branches entangled into the gate and the sheer weight of the tree, it was hours before it could be disentangled and removed.
At the time, the Addams Family was a TV serial. The culprit who blasted down that tree was never caught. Shortly afterwards the other pupils nicknamed me Uncle Fester, after the TV character that was always experimenting with explosives.

A mate at work that I used to do night shifts with had a cruddy faded red/pink 106 from 1993. That thing was the worst motor in the car park. One night, while said mate was on a long call, three of us decided to jump out, jack the s
tbox up, remove the wheels and place 3 bricks under each corner. When work finished at 3am, we all left the building and got in our cars to leave the business park. Mate gets into the car, starts it, puts it into gear....
Edited as i can't spell.

It still gets talked about from time to time, when the lads are reminiscing...
taking a huge dump in my friends kitty litter box in the wee morning hours only to be awaken soon after by his screaming sister and curious father standing over the box in disbelief. I casually walked up behind them when my friend entered the circle and asked, "what do you feed that thing?"

True story, inspired by george clooney doing the same in brad pitts cats litter box.

Drove mates car up some planks onto the back of our companies low-loader, then hid planks!
He got me back!
I came in to work one morning to find a letter from Herts Constabulary saying that I had been seen speeding on a road near work and should contact them. i was bricking it and started to ring them when I looked up to see my 3 workmates in the next office laugh their heads off!
ETA Just remembered another one! Friend was working in a pub and had left her Rottie in her car. I had only met him a couple of times but offered to take him for a wee and a walk. I came back about half an hour later and found a ketchup sachet which I squeezed out onto my hand! I went over to my friend pretending I was in pain! Unfortunately she took one look at my hand a was so mortified at the thought that her dog could have bitten me that I didn't have the heart to carry it on for any longer.
