another school days thread to see who was teachers pet and who was a teen tearaway.

i think i had 4 detentions. 2 for forgetting my PE kit, one for calling the RE teacher a wker every time he turned around, and one for calling a kid gay, his surname was gray, and it was a fair number of kids in that same detention.

was almost expelled in 6th form for distributing photoshopped porn images of some of the girls, but managed to prove it wasn't me, just my email had been hacked....

i'm sure many of you were far worse.

I was suspended and demoted for getting pissed up round the lake. There were loads of us, one bird got too pissed, was very ill, made a tit of herself in front of her housemistress and subsequently grassed us all up. I think there was about half a dozen suspensions in all for the same incident.

Bev Uden - thanks very much!

Caned on three occasions for smoking, which I thought was a bit harsh. Also caned for legging it out of the dormitory to hitch to Dreamland in Margate, from Sandwich, one night. There was 4 of us , all 12 years old , and were eventually picked up by the BiB on the way back. Rebels zzzzzzzz

Got in quite alot of trouble for this one:

Female teacher who was also head of year chuckles at the word gay... I pipe up saying how mature she was by laughing at the word gay; she then trys to come back with a funny comment on bringing her maturity down to my level..

My under the breath comment that the rest of the class could hear "while your down there"

Parents brought in and a large telling off.

I got a few detentions. One for climbing up a drainpipe for a bet, one for filling my mates bag with bricks (it was on a wall, he put the strap over his shoulder and pulled it off - damn near crippled himself). Close to suspension for climbing onto a roof to retrieve a tennis ball; let off with a good bking though.

3 Detentions in total.

First one wasn't my fault.

Week 1 we had some homework which 1/2 the class didn't do (I did) so she set the same HWK again + some more for those that didn't do it.

Little known to me she collected in all the hwk during the lesson (but missed my table with just me and my mate on) next week came and she asked for both bits, to which I replied that I didn't have to do the extra because I did completed the first part before last week.

She didn't believe me.

Miss Burke - The name says it all.

A couple of detentions and somehow got away with coming back completey pi$$ed (boarding school). I thought I was hiding it well while I was talking to the house master and then I just fell over!

Why nothing came of it I have no idea.

Caned for smoking several times.

Although curiously you were allowed to smoke a pipe in your study.

Didn't have email, MSN etc at school.. computers were a new invention.

Did get suspended for allgedly threatening another pupil with a flick-knife. Parents were dragged upto the school, lessons were stopped, full investigation ensued. Knife crime in the 80's rolleyes

I opened a flick-comb in the changing rooms following a shower after PE, and before I started my next lesson, it had gone from opening a sprung-loaded comb to being in possession of a flick-knife and threatening to kill someone with it eekhehe

It earned me a week off school. You gotta love the grapevine laugh

Always managed to worm out of them
Got moved by English teacher for doing nothing wrong, then he did the most patronising thing in the world, tapped my book and said "come on", at which point I had already packed my bag and was ready to go home, boiling hot friday, last lesson...so I said "I cant be fked, tosser" he went nuts and asked
"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY"
my reply "Are you fking deaf, I cant be fked you tosser, you are such a wker"
told me to get out, told him already packed up adn going home. Called my mum, who then shouted at him and called him a wker was brilliant.

Got in trouble for handing in a fake get out of PE note. Head of PE went nuts, and decided would be best to ring my mum, so I told him to come on, marched over to headteachers office, rang my mum, passed phone over, she went nuts at him, he went for 10 foot tall, to 10mm tall....Best thing was, my mum actually thought she wrote it, she didnt, someone else did, was perfect though.

Other teacher, who to be fair was great, she hated trainers, no tie, no jumper etc, every lesson
"no shoes again"
"nope....lunchtime today/tomorrow"
"yep"
"ok" rofl

Detention, for mentioning the Rugby to a very scary Irish teacher, who had a new whiteboard every other week, if he got angry, would call you up to the front, stand you against the board, talk to you then, take a swing and punch through the whiteboard, right next to your head...Wales beat Ireland at rugby
"good game on saturday wasnt it sir"
"Yes it was, we will talk about it at lunch, in detention"
"bugger"
Great teacher though, his shoulders were perfectly straight and broad

Got detention, for laughing and not helping out our deputy head. To put it into persepctive this man, Mr. James, 6:4 built like a brick st house, ex rugby player/coach, you know those scrum practice things, he could push one on his own. You get in trouble, you prayed to god you didnt have him shout your face off, he would. Really fking scary man.

He was walking up the stairs from bottom floor, I was walking down the stairs from top floor...we merged in the middle floor, where some year 7 ran down the corridor and pushed the door open, knocking all of his papers on the floor and him on his arse...Year 7 started crying instantly, I fell over laughing and couldnt get back up, I knew full well I should have stopped laughing and help pick up his paperwork, but I couldnt, I was on the floor in tears of laughter.

Supposed to get a week after school, for doing one pages work in a whole year in Welsh lesson, to be fair it was a st, lesson, st teacher. She went nuts, "is this all you have done all year" *missed the point that she had given me several new books every week, all hidden in the wall*
Anyway, took me to head of year, who told her to leave, so he could deal with me...Looked at my book for the year, laughed "Welsh, what a st a language, go on off you go"
"no detention??"
"No, this is priceless"

Got in trouble for anknealing (sp) a pack of terbor mints, didnt realise teacher was behind me, make an awesome smell though.

Maths teacher, who to be fair was the best teacher ever, didnt give a st what you did, as long as you did the work, eat, drink in lessons, even pop out for a ciggie. One day, dick in our class threw a rubber, hit him in the eye, he picked up a massive wodge of chewing gum off the floor, went nuts at him.....Next lesson, sat by window, window open, finished my work, gazing out window...flick my chewing gum out the window, but it gets stuck on the window....
He has seen me, st....
"What was that"
"....uh....rubber"
"go get it"
"what?"
"go get it, dont come back till you have got it"
So walked outside, looked for it, couldnt see the imaginary rubber, so I walked out of school, over the fields, to the petrol station, bought some fags and a maths set...came back
"Where have you been"
"gettin the rubber"
"where is it, give it here"
  • st I havent taken it out of the maths set, open it up, take rubber out, he laughed, said
"you went to the shop didnt you"
"yep, told me not to return without a rubber, so out of respect, I bring you a rubber"
"could of got me some fags while you were there"
"funnily enough, I did buy a pack"
"here you go, heres 3 quid"
rofl such an awesome teacher

I was put in detention, excluded for a day, put on report, all for answering the question "name an influential person in history" my mate got asked first, he answered churchill, I was next and I answered hitler. Got sent straight out despite sayoing that I didn't believe that he was a good influence. Went to the head teacher who was an ex-history teacher. He agreed with me and my tutor got a massive bking for it. (It helped that the head teacher was my best mates dad and I was on first name terms with him.). smile

More detentions than I can remember and after calling the HT a Billy Goat (well he did look like one) I was asked which school I would like to be transferred to as I wasnt staying at his.

Empty threats though, I finished my school years there!

Also after flicking a founain pen of ink all over the german teachers clothes my parents got asked to come in for a chat. Again, nothing much really happened about that, possibly grounded for a bit but well worth it!

Parents that join in with the child's antics make me sick.

My parents never in any of my detentions of whatever else stood up for me, the minute they do it all goes to st.
