Hi all

I am picking up a used Vogue this weekend for the Mrs and it will be our first Rangie. It will need some 20" wheels so would appreciate it if anyone has any pics and opinions of which 20" wheels suit them the best.
If anyone has a shorter number plate on the car would you be kind enough to post up a picture so I can make my mind up as to whether I would like to go down that road or not.

Thanks in advance.

Paul.

I think the wheels that HSV123 is refering to is these wheels below. I think they are also referred to as the Stormer type wheels as they were on the Stormer concept. I think Project Kahn in Bradford sells them but I'm not sure, www.kahndesign.com

Hope this helps

Nooooo man, don't do it! 19"s are best compromise between ride and looks... 20"s will border on excessive...

For reference, assuming you ignore the above advice, wink they're these:

Do you mean my advice? Did I show the wrong wheels?

Yep, they're Stormers. Standard fit on HSTs.

Nice looking, but probably do make the ride a little firm.

Stormers are Land Rover OEM, not Kahn.

These are the best rims. thumbup Not a fan of the Overfinch/Kahn ones personally.

I have fitted the 20" wheels that are normally to be found on the Range Rover Supercharged petrol model. These are "correct" for the model as I think the stormer wheels were originally fitted to the Range Rover Sport "first edition",the stormer wheel has a line down the centre of the spoke, the ones fitted to the Range Rover Supercharged petrol has a smooth spoke.hope this makes sense.

Yeh the Kahn ones are for a preferred taste but what I meant is that I think they sell the standard wheels of the range rovers when they take them off. Im sure there all downstairs where he sells all the accessory items etc. Worth giving them a call anyway just to see because they will most likely be brand new and they will probably have a wide range of them.

Thanks for the input guys and the Stormers should be here today. The suppliers say that if the vehicle is pre 06 it will require a different set of wheel nuts??? Can anyone shed any light on this please?

If it is RANGE ROVER you have, then I don't think the Stormers will fit the hub, these are for the Range Rover SPORT/Discovery 3?

But I could be wrong.

Quite... I think that's what they may be referring to. Didn't the Rangies have a slightly different design one?

RRS definitely the 20" Stormers... (as on mine, but I'm not biased, honestly)

Not complaining about firmness of the ride, coming from a 5 series with 19" wheels and adjustable KW suspension, it's like sitting in the saloon now wink

The Stormers are now fitted and only required a different set of wheel nuts as the holes for the hub bolts are slightly wider on the Stormers.
