RE: Looking for contract Software Engineer - BIOS speciality

Looking for a software engineer that can write BIOS/Firmware. Should have in-depth knowledge across a wide range of X86 based platforms down to chip level. Application - Single Board Computers (SBC's).
Experience: C, Assemblers, hands-on Embedded Software engineering.
This is a short term contract and the rate is negotiable or you can price it as the whole job. The end result is a fully tested and working BIOS.
My client designs and manufactures embedded Bluetooth and WiFi products and modules. Their client needs BIOS written that will work with the main CPU and Bluetooth module/s on the board. This project can probably be done entirely from home with all comms done via email and telephone so no commuting or staying away from home or extra expenses.
Note to PH.... My partner is my client as she is the sales and marketing manager for the bluetooth/wifi manufacturer. I don't deal with contractors only perm vacancies so i'm doing this entirely as a favour to her and there is no charge from my part whatsover. The contractor negotiates his own rate with my partners employer direct and i have no involvement whatsoever thereafter!!
If this helps out a fellow PHer and guarantees me a continued special place in my partners heart we are both winners!!
