Sorry Lord, but its going to be a short rant (thats what pubs are for aren't they?)

• Bad day at work today because I fed my colleagues new scarf into our new document shredder.. it completely snarled the shredder and... shredded his scarf. I told him I borrowed it but will now spend all weekend looking for another. I have the shredder in the boot of my car. They haven't missed it yet

• Looked my client in the eye at a meeting (having been told to be honest with him and don't bullst him) and when asked if the project is on track; answered, "No, our subbies haven't turned up and we're really crap I'm afraid" Was trying to be honest but overdid it. Director present, no eye contact

• Very small hand-brake turn out of the carpark after above said meeting. Car skiided sideways out of control and into the kerb (no damage) but again in full view of director

Hate this contract, hate the boss, hate the weather, the country and myself.

Drinking? Guiness - have lots of it
