Info on 911 history

Can any one of you learned fellows recomend a publication that will tell me all I need to know about the 911 up till the 996?

all models and varients etc.

The Paul Frere book seems to be the standard book of its kind. I found it fascinating and pitched just right in terms of volume of detail etc.
