Does it have an alarm?

does my car have an alarm? it doesnt have an interior motion sensor but what happens if someone breaks the window or attempts to open the door? the car is a 2004 Mk5 golf

On the MK5 Golf alarm was standard with all models apart from the entry-level S

not goodthat it is an S then. so if someone forces in entry through the door opening nothing will happen?

lock yourelf in the car with the fob, use interior door lock button and handle to open the door and just press the door open/closed sensors in and out, this will set of any alarms if it has one.
