Inconsistencies with "censored" icon.

In a recent (sensibly) closed topic, it became apparent that not only is the icon extremely selective in its obscuring of "offensive" racial terminology, in the case of the word 
(nigger) it obscures the entire word (unless in quotation marks or parenthesis).
The word " ste ", consisting of five letters, will only have the h and i obscured.
Similarly the word wker will only excercise the icon over the a, n and k.
As the word " wker " contains the same number of letters as the word " " why are they treated differently.
Paki, Chinky, Pikey and the various other dubious terms pointed out by Chris w666, don't seem to trouble the icon (or possibly more accurately, the programmer) at all.
Sadly, in the light of inferences made about others, I wish to state that my enquiry has no hidden agenda and stems solely from interest.

horpe (quite legitimately) in a thread last week, but as I'm getting fed up with it getting censored I typed Sbksthorpe instead of Shorpe assuming the filter would treat bks the same as but it ended up with my post looking silly.Something must be done!!!!

While very few of the words used in illustration form a significant part of my vocabulary (most days at least), I feel that they should be treated with equal concern/indifference.

The swear filter censors words in two different ways, your 'average' swear-word will be censored with the first and last letters left showing. The most offensive words (c***, n***** and p***) are censored in their entirety. king' then you have the w-icon-k from the swearword, plus -ing on the end.You have just highlighted an interesting bug though,
and should both be censored, but to avoid censoring snigger and Pakistan (and others) they are only censored when they are written without any other characters next to them but it is causing them to become uncensored when surrounded by punctuation.I'll add this to the list and get it sorted so that the filter is a little more reliable in future.
