Fell in love with this over the Christmas period and managed to track one down just before the new year. It's a Baume & Mercier Capeland S XXL - they are quite rare and hard to come by as they never sold particularly well when new. It's got a beautiful titanium case, woven kevlar dial which looks stunning in the flesh and is currently on its sailcloth strap. It definitely feels every bit as expensive as its original £2500 retail price would have you believe! It's managed to knock my beloved Ball off my wrist in the past few weeks and I must say I am over the moon with it, absolutely stunning watch.

Lol, it's pretty big but it's comfortable and not too heavy.
Yes, the yellow face is the kevlar bit and because it's woven it really catches the light beautifully.

I've seen a few Kevlar straps that look quite interesting.

The dial is kevlar but the strap isn't, it's actual sailcloth, if that's what you're talking about?

I've only ever seen Kevlar being used as straps, and they looked really good.
Never seen it used on the dial before.
