Cool Essex Roads

Can anybody recomend any good roads in Essex.
Heres some for starters;
Dunmow to Thaxstead.
Chelmsford to Mashbury.

There's one coming into Malden that has a fantastically twisty stretch, but can't remember the name.

Would echo the comment about the road from Ongar to Thaxsted (through the Rodings and Barfields) - think it's the B184 from memory. One of my all time favourite roads - not just because it's fantastic to drive, but because there never seems to be anyone on it and it's sufficiently well-sighted to have fun.

The roads around Thaxted are rubbish, I would advise people in the strongtest terms that they are busy, congested and probably the worst roads in the world.

road from southminster to bradwell on sea is nice.
another vote for the b184.
fen lane from north ockendon to bulphan is good, but way too bumpy now and its too short too... doh.

Oh - the one that runs to Bradwell on Sea airfield I presume?

There are some really fantastic stretches towards the northern end of that road.
