Guitar hero 2 again...

Hi

So i finally hopped on the GH bus, picking up GH2 with game and guitar boxed for £30 off scum bay. However, when it gets sent through, the connector at the end of the guitar doesn't fit in my xbox. The xbox socket is rectangle and the guitar plug is round, has he forgot to send a connector or something? Does anyone know where i can buy one?

Yeah, it's a USB plug that actually goes into the console, then there's a short length that then connects into the round socket you've got, basically acting like a quick-break point for when you get a bit too wild with your posturing and allowing the connection to be broken cleanly, rather than having you yank your 360 onto the floor.

Could the OP use the adaptor on the usb cable for the controller. IIRC they have a round break apart connector.

First off I'd contact the seller through ebay. Then maybe try contacting Red Octane who make the guitars and see if they could send you a spare out?

If you've got any wired controllers they should have the same thing, not sure if it is universal though.
