I have got my S2 Exige up for sale and despite having a low price set for my immaculate car, its still here and I expect the current weather conditions aren't helping!

Anyway, I have been contacted by Driven Image (http://www.drivenimage.co.uk) about either a part exchange for a car they have or possibly to offer a Sale-or-Return transaction with my car on show in their place in Wetherby. Does anyone know this company and can they recommend their service?

I don't know them at all and whilst I know about Sale-or-Return and hear that some owners have used it effectively, the only experience I think of is a friend who nearly lost all his money on a car and has taken over 5 years to get get around 95% repayment.

Otherwise, if anyone wants an immaculate S2 Exige in starlight black metallic then drop me a line and I will happily have a chat about a price for a sale. The advert and details are on Pistonheads : http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/893150.htm

Judging by the address, I think they're connected to Pure Lotus - reports on them are mixed.

Thorpe Arch village is very near the trading estate of the same name, but a couple of miles apart. I used to work next door to Pure Lotus and popped in a couple of times. Might be worth driving up to have a look and find out more. The roads around there are great - all the bikers end up around nearby Sherburn so wait til the snow's cleared and go for a good blast!

Thanks for the replies. I know what you mean about Pure Lotus as a friend visited there very recently and the car wasn't as he expected which was a bit of a shame for the miles he had travelled.

Chris, what did you think?

Your Exige is a nice car, and seems to be well priced for it's spec. Just a hard time to get a sale at this time of year. If you can hold on for a month or two more, I'm sure it'll shift.

Sounds ok to me but I live so far away so transport cost etc etc think i'll keep trying here with e-bay, autotrader. I am desperate to buy the Silver Exige S down at dream machines so if you know anyone after a very late T350c with warranry!!!

I actually work in the motortrade along with alot of my friends and they all say driven image is a good place.

Thanks Chris for point about the motortrade knowledge.

S Works, yes its a great car and colour but I fancy a change. With the Lotus warranty on it I thought it would appeal to a lot of people who could buy it and know that everything is covered which is not usually the case with a private sale.

I wouldn't personally do a sale or return, I had a nightmare with a dealership in Harrogate in getting my TVR Sagaris back.

I just checked out your Exige on the classifieds (you responded to one of my posts yesterday). What a corker, it looks stunning! Out of my price range unfortunately, but if it was in my price range I'd be on my way to see you this weekend!

Fingers crossed for a sale soon.

Just a quick note to say that although we are good friends of jay at pure lotus, we have no business connection what so ever other than being in the same area.
