Track pump recommendation
Discussion
I’ve got a Topeak Joe Blow Max 2 and it’s been faultless. But for a road bike the Joe Blow Sport would be the one to get as the Max 2 is only 120psi (way more than I’d ever need on mtb) whereas the Sport is 160psi. I don’t know about the Blackburn track pumps, but I somehow managed to split the alloy shaft on my Blackburn mini-pump!
I bought a Park Tools PFP-3 for my roadie a few months ago - obviously does the mtb too but can easily get to 110psi (which is what I usually do my road tyres to) - the dial goes up to 160psi!! Have had some problems with it blowing off the valve at high temperatures (due to the valves having a smooth grip surface) but I either just put it on again and give it another shot (which usually works) or hold it there to give a bit more grip and push the handle with one hand....either way, it works

I had a Revolution track pump - Edinburgh Cycle Coop own brand - which was faultless. A mate left it in Morzine for me the first year we went. Was very good and the 'bleed valve' was handy. Can't remember what pressure it went up to.
Now have a Park one. Don't have the model number to hand. It doesn't have a 'bleed valve' though which is annoying.
If you're wanting it to seat tubeless mtb tyres then I'd look for a double barrelled one.

They will do 120/130 psi no bother. Cheaper version is ~£15, and ~£25 for one with a bleed valve.
I've got the cheap one in my garage at home, and we absolutely hammer these pumps in the shop and they last very well. Cant really see why you'd spend any more to be honest.
