Quickest way to stop a nosebleed!

yehh sure just pick my nose whats the worst that can happen?
currently typing this whilst havin my fac covered in red bog roll.

Solution needed quick!

it'll cauterise something. if you are lucky, your burst blood vessel.

Apart from that, there isn't anything unless you have some sort of clotting agent handy

If you lean back the blood will go down your throat and can make you sick when it hits your stomach. Nice!

My wife won't take this advice and always leans her head back then complains she feels sick!

never lay down or tilt your head back, the blood will make you feel very sick and there is also the risk of choking.

head slightly forward, and pinch gently. if the bleeding is very bad then you can try an ice cube, but wrap it in a hanky or something first.

Up which nostril?

Cut your foot off. This will cause the blood to run out of your leg/ankle thus stopping your nosebleed.

tourniquet around the neck will definitely stop the bleeding.

Hit the arch of your foot. Honest to god, I've seen this work on countless nosebleed people and it has always worked (I know this is PH and normally an area to take the piss but for once I am not joining in).
