Hi, Can anyone shed any light on the following fault, the roof retracted perfectly but on closure it got to within 25mm of the catch and stopped dead, no noise, just stopped, the switch is dead and the rear windows will not rise, Ive checked the fuse this is fine, there's no oil leaks and the resovoir is to level. could it be a relay/switch problem, I dont think its hydraulic, Ive looked online and pump failure is very rare Any help would be appreciated

IIRC there has been problems with the hydraulic fluid congealing and causing the roof to maulfunction. If that's the case then you'll have to flush out the system and refill with the updated version of the oil.

Is the latch fully extended to accept the "hook"? I had a problem where the latch was binding and not extending all the way which caused the problem you are describing.

Thanks for your advice, however the latch is in the closed position, can the roof mechanism be out of sync
