Just had my first big fuse failure. Burned holder, cracked fusre and flat battery. The fuse was a dog to get to. Has anyone repositioned the fuse. If so where to and how?

About 18 months ago there were pics on here showing a relocated one.

A 100-amp fuse and holder from a big ICE install were mounted on the air-con compressor as far as I remember.

Looked a tidy install as far as I remember.

I thionk that mine has been relocated - had the induction off the other day and couldn't see anything else which looked like the big fuse - perhaps someone could confirm?

It will certainly be easier to access there rather than under all of the induction pipes!

Could you run without the fuse???

What does it actually protect?
