Iknow --- numpty! Consequnently I've removed the alarm / immobiliser unit ready for recoding but I can't get the lock barrel out of the steering column. I've taken of the armoured protection but can't get any further. Also does any one know the key part number (Ford I believe). Polo
Woah - STOP. Been there myself. Highly recommend you call your nearest dealer; it doesn't need to be that difficult and you can put away the screwdrivers but obviously not something that can be posted on a public forum.
