How much is my Elise worth?
Discussion
As the title really, I'm looking to sell as I much as I love the car, I've only done 600 miles in it in the last 2 years. Not sure what it's going to be worth in the current climate, and looking at the current selling prices, some people appear a bit optimistic to say the least!!
Details
March 2006 111R Touring (With AirCon) in Magnetic Blue
3100 Miles
Issues
Scuffing on one Alloy
Some Crazing on the rear clam
One chip on the door, where some moron has opened their door into mine even though I deliberately park nowhere near anyone else!!
Not been serviced since March 2007 as it's basically been in my garage since then and only done 600 miles maybe less!
Thanks for you help.

If it was me, based on the Autotrader search for 111r 2006 with low mileage I would be looking at asking 18k ish but I would also get it serviced first.
I also don't think the current climate - both weather and economy - would be particulary conducive to Elises flying out the door though.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

14k sounds well under-priced to me. I think it'd sell pretty quickly at 16k to be honest.
If you could wait until the weather warms up a bit, you'd probably get 17-18.
I've got the final balloon payment of £12700 due in April and I want to sell it before then, I've got the money set aside to pay for it but I don't really want to use it with the current financial climate. If you could wait until the weather warms up a bit, you'd probably get 17-18.

04/05 with ten times the miles were selling towards the end of last year for £14-£15k. In general these cars would stick around until advertised for £15k and then sell.
Despite the cosmetic issues and lack of servicing I think you'd get £16k very quickly particularly with the Touring a/c spec.
The financial climate is leading to people getting out of more expensive machinery into Elises. The seasonal climate will pass in a few weeks. I'd advertise in March for £16k personally.

Crikey, 3100 miles, that's not even run in properly (bought mine with 3.5k on it, and you could tell after another 1-2k that it had loosened up a bit). As for £14k, you're having a laugh - either that or you presumably want to buy it really cheap. Things aren't so bad yet that a barely run in R is worth only £14k.
I like these threads, cos it means its not just me that is completely baffled by elise 2nd hand prices. I jealosuly look at the v8 vantage 2nd hand market where they are £40k for 20k miles (but want a lotus).
The 2H pricing doesnt seem to be linear, with some wierd price crashes and plateaus at 22k, 18k and 14k. Anyhoo good luck selling it to the OP.
